Amanda Benton came to CFCI after graduating from UNC Wilmington. She completed her internship in 1st grade at CFCI in the spring of 2009 and realized how important inquiry and social curriculum is during the elementary school years. Currently she is in graduate school at UNC Wilmington earning a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy.

Amanda's family lives in Goldsboro, North Carolina where she grew up and she loves to go home and visit them. Other than spending time with her family she loves to run, play with her puppy (Tucker), and read. Amanda loves the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that CFCI offers!
