Indira Grimes is from Houston, Texas. She completed her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 and worked as an engineer for 9 years with Andersen Windows and Corning. She moved to North Carolina in 1997 and it was soon after the move that she realized she wanted to teach. She began teaching 8th grade Math at Williston Middle School in 2006/2007 and moved to CFCI for the 2007/2008 school year. She looks forward to a long career at our wonderful school!

Indira is married to John Grimes and they have three children, ages 12, 10, and 8. They also have a houseful of animals!
