Julie Sartorius graduated from UNCW in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education after completing her internship in first grade at CFCI. As she developed her background in inquiry based learning, she fell in love with the open and caring environment CFCI has to offer. After her internship Ms. Julie continued to work at CFCI from 2008 to 2010 as an Exceptional Children's Teacher Assistant while she attended graduate school at UNCW and received her Master's Degree in Language and Literacy.

For the 2010-2011 school year Ms. Julie taught second grade at a KIPP school in Texas but is thrilled to be back home in Wilmington and teaching third grade at CFCI.
