Lori Underwood

Ms. Underwood comes to CFCI this year from South Brunswick Middle School where she served as a Curriculum Specialist and Algebra 1 teacher. Before that, Ms. Underwood taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math at Leland Middle School . She has her undergraduate degree from UNCW in Middle Grades Education. She received her National Board Certification and Academically and Intelligently Gifted Certification. Ms. Underwood is currently working on her Master's in School Administration through East Carolina University . She is thrilled to be working with teachers and students at CFCI!!!

Ms. Underwood loves spending time with her family and friends both here and in her Virginia hometown. She spends her free time reading, going to the beach, traveling, and playing with her dogs Duke and Buster.
