Lori Underwood

Ms. Underwood began working at CFCI in 2008. She came from South Brunswick Middle School where she served as a Curriculum Specialist and Algebra 1 teacher. Before that, Ms. Underwood taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math at Leland Middle School . Ms. Underwood received her Master’s Degree in School Administration from East Carolina University and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Middle Grades Education. She is a National Board Certified teacher and her Academically and Intelligently Gifted Certification. She is thrilled to be working with teachers and students at CFCI!!!

Ms. Underwood loves spending time with her family and friends both here and in her Virginia hometown. She spends her free time reading, going to the beach, traveling, and playing with her dogs Duke and Buster.
