Michael Zentmeyer is now in his fourth year as the Human Resources Coordinator at CFCI. In this role, he serves the staff in areas such as salary, benefits, certification and licensure. He also serves the students and parents at CFCI by assisting in the hiring of the best qualified applicants for any vacancies that occur. Michael has 35 years experience in education, including time as an elementary grade teacher, peer evaluator and elementary school principal. He retired in January 2008. This opportunity to serve as the Human Resource Coordinator for CFCI gives him the chance to again be a part of a school and to work for children.

As a 35 year resident of New Hanover County, Michael has developed interests that fit this area. He enjoys tennis, sailing and golf. He has two children, and a Carolina yellow dog named Roo He is a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan.
