Nancy Johnsen
joined the CFCI Administrative team in 2008 and came to CFCI with
a 10 year background in the administration of programs for students
with disabilities. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mrs.
Johnsen obtained her MEd and EdS degrees from the University of
West Georgia in Carrolton, GA earning dual areas of licensure in
Learning Disabilities and Severe Emotional Disturbance.
A trainer and speaker focusing on best practices in the instruction
of children with disabilities and the crisis management of students
with severe behavioral disabilities, she has served as a Senior
Trainer with Life Space Crisis Intervention and is currently a Training
Associate with the Center for Teacher Effectiveness.
Mrs. Johnsen lives with her husband in Southport, has two grown
sons, loves to spend time working with children and youth in her
church and enjoys time traveling and being with family.
