Reneé
DeVos, a native of New York State, decided to make North Carolina
her home in 1995. She is a graduate of UNC at Wilmington where she
earned her B.A. from the Department of Health and Human Science
with her major in physical education and concentration in biology.
She is currently certified to teach grades K-12. Reneé's
goal as a teacher is to teach lifelong physical activities and healthy
living habits to all of the students enrolled at CFCI.
Reneé
has a strong background in fitness that began with 6 years as a
certified personal trainer prior to teaching. Reneé has competed
in both bodybuilding shows and power lifting meets in the past and
continues to train currently on a non-competitive level.
Reneé's
biography was recently featured in the 26th edition of the Marquis
Who's Who of American Women (2007). In her free time, she enjoys
spending time with loved ones, photography, and travel.
