Sadie Ackerman
Sadie Ackerman has a Master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and has worked as a freelance writer, editor, writing teacher, and writing consultant for over 15 years. Watching people, and in particular, children, discover their voices and find ways to hammer their abstract thoughts into language ranks right up there on her thrill list with a great bike ride or a backpacking trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. When none of those options are available, she also loves working up and down the halls of CFCI doing whatever she can to assist the teachers there. At the end of the day, she gets to take the two neatest students in the school home: her sons, Ellis and Thayer.
