seeking applicants for the position described below. If you are

GUIDANCE
COUNSELOR
Applicant must have a current license from the North
Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors
This is a part time, 25 hours per week, position.
Salary and benefits are negotiable.
This person will provide the full range of guidance
counselor services to our K-8 student body, 375 students total.
These include:
-classroom presentations
to support the Social Curriculum of CFCI
-small group sessions as needed
-individual counseling as needed
-crisis intervention and behavior intervention support
-participation in IEP and Exception Children meetings as appropriate
-assist Testing Coordinator and conduct other testing as needed
-organize hearing and vision screening
-serve as liaison for Homeless Program
-coordinate Human Growth and Development Program
-other duties as assigned by the Director
TEACHER ASSISTANT,
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN’S DEPARTMENT
Works mostly with students in grades 4-8 who have
Learning Disabilities, primarily in reading, writing and math; under
the direction and supervision of both classroom teachers and Exceptional
Children teachers.
Travels to different classrooms throughout the day,
following a flexible schedule.
Part time, 29 hours per week
$10 per hour, no additional benefits
Position starts August 21, 2008 and goes until June
9, 2009
