What is the Partnership?
The Partnership for CFCI is the parent / teacher organization at the school. The group works to support the mission and vision of the school by organizing fund raisers, community events, and pitching in wherever help is needed. The Partnership believes strongly that parent support, both time and financial, should directly impact the students in the school.

What are some of the specific activities of the Partnership?
Each year, the Partnership responds to the needs expressed by teachers. However, there are some activities that are CFCI traditions! Before school starts, the Partnership gets the playground ready for the kids and organizes a back to school picnic for the whole school. In the fall, the Partnership holds "Fund the Wonder," an opportunity for parents to financially support the school. Monies from Fund the Wonder have been used to create gardens; buy novel sets, art supplies, and computers; and fill many other classroom needs. In December, the Partnership holds a Holiday Festival with games, crafts, a Silent Auction, raffles, and fun family holiday activities. In the spring, the Partnership organizes a School Spirit Week as well as Teacher Appreciation Week.

How can I get involved in the Partnership?
Attend our meetings! They're held throughout the year, usually on a Tuesday night. (See the website and/or the marquee in front of the school for dates.) Often, the meetings include a dinner fundraiser for a specific classroom and/or a performance by our students. At the meetings, you can get updates on what's new in the Partnership. If you are interested in volunteering with the Partnership, please contact one of the individuals listed above. We love volunteers, whether you have an hour to give or more!

  • Remember the CFCI Chili's Nights are the first Thursday of every month! A percentage of the profits come directly back to our school!
  • CFCI's Harris Teeter Vic Card # is 4018. Remember, you can link to more than one school, and friends and family with no affiliation can link to us as well!
  • Keep sending in those General Mills Box Tops.
